The popular Thurman Town Wide Sale, begun in the mid-1990s, returns this year on June 11 and 12, from 9-5 each day. Find the map in town (Thurman town hall and at some garage sales) or download it online and check out the sales in advance. The sellers’ lists are still coming in as of this writing (5/15/2022), but it looks as though there will private garage sales on the main drag and on little back roads all over town, and the variety of goods includes such intriguing items as furniture, tools, a riding lawn mower, antiques, jewelry, collectibles, housewares, dishes, books, electronics, an old tractor, a samovar, iron tools to be fixed, clothing and hand-crafted Adirondack items. Fresh farm products including baked breads and cookies; shoppers may fine jams, maple products and pasture raised meats and eggs. Travel to Thurman from Warrensburg via NYS route 418, and navigate to sales via pink signs and sale map, to be available online at facebook.com/events/1538272723235575 and in Thurman during the event. Come see what’s here!
