Winter fun at Veterans’ Memorial Field, weather permitting. Sled downhill. Ample parking area with footpath to top of the hill. No supervision is provided. Parents must assume responsibility for the safety and behavior of their children.
Concerts in the Park, Monday evenings in August, Veterans’ Memorial Field, 7 p.m. Free, rain/shine unless pounding deluge or dangerous lightning. Under cover. Bring a chair or blanket (or use our benches) and consider layered clothing for unpredictable evening temperatures. Nonprofit concession stand on site. Enjoy the concert and browse through information about local events and businesses. Held by the town of Thurman using Warren County occupancy taxes. 518-623-9649. Thurman Free Store

Gently used items will be collected at the Thurman Town Hall on Saturday, November 4, from 11am-4pm
Shopping day will be Sunday, November 5, from 11am-4pm.
Clothing, toys, books, small appliances, household items, sporting goods and tools (cannot accept dirty items, large appliances, encyclopedias, electronics and furniture but are glad to post pictures of same with your contact information).
Freecycle is open to all who want to “recycle” useful items rather than throw them away, and also to those who may be looking for something!
Take as little or as much as you’d like. There is no limit – the more, the better- all is free!
