Nettle Meadow Cheese Jam presents The Old Main Band plus Opener TBA

August 9, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$10

Doors open at 6. Get your tickets (supporting the Kemp Sanctuary at Nettle Meadow) and head up to the loft to claim your seats and check out the regional beers and wines, and nab some of cheese treats available. Nettle Meadow proudly serves wines from Adirondack Winery and craft beers from Adirondack Brewery.

Featured Act: The Old Main takes the stage about 8 p.m.

The Old Main, hailing from Adirondack foothills, has drawn favorable comparisons to bands such as The Avett Brothers, The Band, and Dawes while retaining a sound and style uniquely their own. Assigning a genre is a challenge, and they’ve been called Folk/Rock, Adirondack Folk, foot stomping Folk, alt-Americana, and all sorts of other things. The explanation is simple: They’ve developed a voice all their own through their high energy live performances, and the raw acoustic sound created through their use of acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, upright bass, drums, and ringing vocal harmonies. Hear them perform!

Seth Becker– Guitar, Banjo, Harmonica, Vocals

Nash Robb– Upright Bass, Tin Whistle, Vocals

Mitch Eckler– Drums, Vocals

Opening with The Upstate, featuring Maddy Schimmenti, 7:00

The show opens with a 7 p.m. performance by The Upstate, playing pop rock with a North Country edge. This duo features guitarist/vocalist Maddy Schimmenti.

All ticket, beverage and cheese plate revenues support the Kemp Sanctuary. Thank you for your support!
