Herbs: Beef, Butter and Blue Cheese: An Introduction to Holistic Nutrition
February 23, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm$5
If you have had any interest in all in any of Amy Cason’s classes or how herbs can affect your health, this class is for you. This is a 2 hour introduction to the basics of nourishing the body. Learn why herbs are an important part of nourishing the body. We will discuss how the cells receive nutrients and what we can do to increase the amount of nutrients our cells receive. (And if you don’t eat meat, don’t worry, this class is for everyone.)
Classes are held at Martin’s Lumber in Thurman NY. Classes are held in the loft or the upper room depending on participants and weather. All classes are meant for everyone from the beginner to the advanced herb user and are presented in an interactive form instead of a lecture allowing for a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Children are welcome as guests or participants. We break for lunch or a communal snack in the middle of the class. All you need is a pen and notebook, if you wish to take notes and a snack or lunch if you want.
Reserve your spot now.
Contact Amy at [email protected] or message her on Facebook at Thyme in a Bottle.
The price of $5 is a continuing special, but the cost for following Introduction classes may increase.
Come stay in Thurman-perhaps at The Glen Lodge B&B or, if you camp, inquire at scenic Daggett Lake Campsite or Glen-Hudson Campsite on the River.
